What’s Alamo like?

Alamo and sister company Enterprise are in joint third place and it's not until you compare prices that you spot the sibling rivalry. You paid almost £100 per week less on average with Alamo.

Readers loved its free 'skip the counter' service (available in some locations). 'Paperwork is checked at the exit and you're on your way,' one customer enthused.

Just make sure you check the car for scuffs and dents before you drive away, as there were several reports that Alamo sometimes misses existing damage - it received a mediocre three out of five stars in this category.

Should I book with Alamo?

Alamo’s wide choice of vehicles, coupled with clear pricing, delivers a winning combination. It’s the best option for your next American adventure and worth looking for elsewhere for a hassle-free experience.
