Everyone's doing it: taking a hatchback or MPV, raising it up and giving it chunkier styling to appeal to those wanting an efficient SUV-style alternative. Renault did this to create a version of its popular compact MPV, the Scénic XMOD. But it's not a proper 4x4, and there isn't a four-wheel-drive option, so what's the point?
