This Suzuki Swift (2010-2016) might look similar to the previous model, but there are plenty of changes underneath the body and it's actually built on an entirely new chassis. It was initially offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine before a 1.3-litre diesel arrived in 2011, followed by a 134bhp Swift Sport in 2012 and a four-wheel-drive Swift 4x4 in 2013. How we test comfort and practicality

Comfort and practicality includes how easy it is, or not, to get in and out of the car and the maximum height of occupants. We also measure road, wind and engine noise and assess how well the car deals with bumps from large potholes to jittery surfaces like cobble stones.
