The Aico Ei603 battery powered heat alarm exists to detect and sound when temperatures rapidly rise. It’s designed for places such as the kitchen or a garage, where smoke from cooking or fumes from a vehicle could cause false alarms with traditional smoke alarms. It comes with a 10-year sealed battery, which means that you’ll never have to replace the batteries. It isn’t possible to link it to other smoke and heat alarms, so it will not be suitable for homes in Scotland following the 2022 law changes.
