This terrifyingly unreliable smoke alarm failed every one of our eight smoke detection tests when we tested it in 2019. That’s why we’ve made it a Don’t Buy and are warning you about it. We bought this alarm from eBay but we’ve also seen listings for it on Wish. It’s white and circular with a red circle in the middle. The packaging is dark red and the only text on the box is in Chinese, as are the user instructions. If you’re in the market for a new smoke alarm, don’t be tempted by this product - it’s one of the most dangerous products we’ve tested and that’s why we’ve made it a Don’t Buy.
