We have reviewed Privilege's two home insurance policies, 'Home Insurance' and 'Platinum Home Insurance'.
The standard 'Home Insurance' policy covers lost and stolen keys, burst pipes, subsidence, damage to underground services and some accidental damage. You can optionally add cover for legal protection, full accidental damage, home emergency, bicycles and personal possessions away from the home.
Established in 1994, Privilege specialises in selling car and home insurance over the phone and the internet. It is part of the Direct Line Group, which includes insurance providers Direct Line and Churchill, and is underwritten by UK Insurance.
