What network does Voxi use?

Voxi is a virtual provider, which means it uses another provider's infrastructure – in this case, the Vodafone network. It offers 4G and 5G coverage, as Vodafone has switched off its 3G network.

How good is Voxi’s mobile coverage?

You can check coverage where you live by using a mobile network coverage checker. Enter your postcode into a map and it will tell you how good Vodafone's signal is in your area and compare it with the other providers.

Voxi’s deals and incentives

Voxi offers an extensive range of phone contracts and Sim-only deals. Cancel-anytime Sim-only deals start from £10 a month, giving you 15GB of data plus unlimited calls and texts.

All deals receive Voxi’s flagship incentive – endless social media. Using certain apps, such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and WhatsApp, won't eat into your data allowance. However, this doesn't include making and receiving voice and video calls.

Plans with 30GB of data or more also include endless video. This means you can watch videos on streaming services such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, TikTok and YouTube without using any of your data allowance.

You'll have to buy a European Roaming Pass to use your calls, texts and data while travelling in the EU. It costs:

Pass durationCost
1 day£2.25
2 days£4
8 days£10
15 days£15

A European Roaming Pass gives you unlimited calls and texts and your usual data allowance, or 20GB, whichever is less.

Voxi runs a scheme called Voxi For Now, offering endless data, calls and texts for £10 a month to people claiming certain government benefits. This plan would usually cost £30 a month. Anyone claiming jobseeker's allowance, disability allowance, personal independent payment, employment and support allowance or employment-based universal credit is eligible. There is no requirement to sign a contract, and the plan can be paused or cancelled anytime.

Does Voxi increase its prices each year?

As Voxi offers rolling 30-day Sim-only contracts, customers are not hit by costly inflation-based mid-contract price increases. Before the end of the month, you will be able to check what the price to renew is.

If it does increase or is too expensive, you can switch to a different network with no penalty.

Voxi stores

Launched as a network aimed at younger, internet-focused generations, Voxi doesn’t have much of a physical presence – such as stores. If you need any help or advice, Voxi doesn't have a call centre but you can use the Voxi website to live chat with its social media and website teams to resolve any issues.
