Amazon’s Fire tablet range has managed to marry solid performance with low price for years and the 8-inch HD 8 is the latest iteration of the popular series. It improves on the smaller 7-inch Fire with extra speakers for a stereo effect and a sharper display, but is the middle child of the Fire range (the 10-inch HD 10 being at the other end) worth buying or are there better options available?
