Sky Glass seems like a perfect proposition for Sky customers. You get all the channels through a Sky Box built into the TV, there’s no need for a satellite as the signal comes over wi-fi, and you can pay for it as part of your subscription. But it’s one thing to make PVRs and set-top boxes; making a good TV isn’t easy and Sky has tough competition from some of the biggest tech brands. Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
