Philips OLEDs have a mountain to climb to be recognised alongside LG and Samsung’s best TVs. LG is synonymous with high-quality OLED TVs and Samsung, a fairly new player in the OLED space, has the name and pedigree to give it a serious head start. There’s no reason to believe Philips can’t challenge these two TV titans, though, and the 55-inch 55OLED808 (sometimes called the 55OLED808/12) certainly has the specs to pull it off.
