Sony says its XR processor uses cognitive intelligence to hone the picture to be easier on the eye. Essentially, it understands what parts of the screen your eyes are drawn to and makes those bits look stunning. It’s a fine idea, but it sounds tricky to pull off. Sony has impressed with ambitious TV tech before though, so we’re excited to see whether the 65-inch XR-65A80L can pull it off.
