Marella Cruises may be a budget operation, but it doesn’t scrimp on experience. Customers felt they got a great cruise for their cash, awarding it four stars for value for money. It helps that tips and drinks are included in the price. One loyal customer told us: ‘Cruises I've been on with Marella have all been excellent fun – and great value.’
Several customers complimented the variety of speciality restaurants (some cost extra) and ‘top-quality’ entertainment, which ranges from ballroom dancing classes to glitzy West End-style shows, and even a rock climbing wall and open-air cinema. Most of all, customers felt they got exactly what was promised, giving Marella Cruises the full five stars when it came to description matching reality. The only gripe was patchy wi-fi, costing a pricey £8 per day.
If you’re looking to cruise on a budget, absolutely. Marella’s cruises are better rated than many of its pricier rivals.
