Who is Noble Caledonia?

Interesting itineraries and intimate ships are the big draws for Noble Caledonia customers. Launched in 1991, the luxury brand operates some of the smallest cruise ships on the high seas – with a maximum of 230 guests – calling at lesser-visited ports at destinations, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and Japan to Costa Rica.

What’s Noble Caledonia like?

Comfortably topping our table with 90%, Noble Caledonia managed to wow its customers in just about every category. It was the only cruise line to include excursions in the headline fare – and to be awarded the full five stars for them. Customers praised the ‘unique experiences’, ‘top-class’ guides and exceptionally helpful staff.

On most ships, wine and beer are also included at mealtimes. It goes some way to explain why, despite the high prices, Noble Caledonia still clinched five stars for its value for money. As one customer put it: ‘I prefer to pay up front for the holiday, trips on land and enjoy wine with my meals – and not dread the bill at the end.’

Onboard entertainment is limited to lectures, a library and the odd pianist, but Noble Caledonia’s satisfied customers didn’t mind. Instead, they enjoyed meeting like-minded passengers at mealtimes, with the excellent food and drink also receiving high praise.

Should I book with Noble Caledonia?

The haul of five-star ratings says it all. Noble Caledonia’s cruises may be eye-wateringly expensive but they're worth every penny according to loyal customers.
