What does All Clear travel insurance offer?

All Clear – underwritten by Zurich – is a medical 'specialist' provider, listed in the BIBA (The British Insurance Brokers' Association) directory of firms offering tailored insurance options for travellers with pre-existing medical conditions.

If you have a medical condition and want to ensure it's covered, you'll need to declare it to the insurer. Adding the condition may entail paying an additional premium.

How good is All Clear at handling claims?

The latest data from the Financial Conduct Authority shows that All Clear's underwriter - Zurich - paid 85-90% of claims made on annual worldwide policies, and 80-85% of claims made on annual European and single-trip policies in 2022. 

These were higher than the average acceptance rates of 82%, 76% and 73% respectively.
