What does Flexicover travel insurance offer?

Flexicover offers three levels of annual and single-trip policies, Diamond, Gold and Silver. 

You have the option to add winter sports (skiing) and cruise cover as extensions for Gold and Silver policies.

It is underwritten by Collinson Insurance - which is a trading name of Astrenska Insurance Limited.

How good is Flexicover at handling claims?

The latest data from the Financial Conduct Authority show that Flexicover's underwriter – Astrenska – paid out 85-90% of claims made on annual European policies in 2022. This was above the average rate of 76%.

It accepted 85-90% of claims made on annual worldwide policies, which is above the average of 82%.

It paid 80-85% of claims made on single-trip policies; the average rate was 73%.

Flexicover travel insurance: how do I make a claim?

For medical emergencies abroad call +44 (0) 333 005 1074 and have your policy reference number at hand.

To make a claim, you can go through Flexicover's online portal or call  0333 005 1073.

Before calling for cancellation claims, you should contact your travel agent and/or airline to seek a refund or to move your trip.
